Ramadan, Grandparents Visit & Eid!

It's been a while since you last heard from me. You see, over the past month, it's been Ramadan and everyone was busy. Mom and Dad got busy with my grandparents who visited us on Ramadan and stayed for Eid. Also since they got a maid they started to go out with their friends at night and sometimes they take me with them if there are kids from my age.

I enjoyed my time with Jido who used to take me everyday down to the shopping centre and play and run with me, and take photos with everyone :-D

Ramadan was very nice this year. Khalo Hisham joined us at Iftar many times before he went to China. Also the Ramadan tents were amazing, although I only went a few times, but the atmosphere was really good.

Also we went for iftar outside several times, once with Zeina (" Dad's cousin") and her husband Khalid and once with the Dad's relatives "Abu Ghali Family" since Teta and Jido haven't seen Uncle Hani and his sons since the Kuwait war in 1990. It was nice and fun to see them again.

We also went to Sharjah to meet Hala ("7ala") for the first time. Hala is Aunt Haneen's daughter who was born in July this year and I played a lot with her brother Sultan. Also Leen (Sireen's daughter) was there and we had great time playing together in Sultan's room.

On Eid we had lunch with Zeina and Khalid at Al-Nafoura restaurant, where I played out with anonymous girls as usual :-D

All in all, Ramadan was better this year (though a bit hot; and it will only get hotter next year!) because we had some relatives who came over and shared us the Iftar and on Eid we can visit them.

Now, over the past month I've had some new additions to my vocabulary, as follows:

1. I got used to be carrying out a lot and now I always go to people I know and stand by their legs and look up at them with my arms lifted up and say "E-doh" which means "Carry me" and comes from the word "Jido" because he is the one who used to carry me a lot and now I connect being carried with my "Jido" haha.

2. With our new maid, Editha, in the house now, I keep calling out for her because I like her a lot. But I say "Dita" rather than "Editha" and now even my parents are calling her by that name!

3. I love pressing on the water cooler button to fill up Mom and Dad's glasses when they want some water and you can see me doing that in a picture we took recently.

4. I love squeezing my parents' belly buttons and see them in pain as I do that haha. But don't do that to me, I'm a baby!

5. I love walking in the corridor outside our house and shouting all the way, while stepping on every single welcome mat outside our neighbours' appartments.

Anyway, enough talk. I hope you enjoy my recent photos.
