My latest news bulletin

I'm 6 and a 1/2 now (months that is). I can eat, play, roll over, make sounds and also laugh out loud hahaha.

Everyday I drink milk, eat fruits, vegetables, cerelac and biscuits. I like the cerelac most and sometimes I taste chocolates and other sweets that Mom and Dad eat.

I play with all my toys: The swing is the best because I play on its musical keys and eat on it at the same time. Then comes the "Winnie the Pooh" play mat on which I spend most of my time and from there I can make a tour around the house in 5 minutes. Then comes the walker but my legs still can't touch the floor and then come the play nest which my parents bought only a few days ago (you can see it in the photo above) which helps me learn how to sit without support. As for my pram it's only for outside in the playground but I don't like to sit in it without moving.

I can roll to the right and left and in 1 second I can roll over on my tummy and hold my head steady. I can get a toy out of reach and turn in the direction of voices. I like most of all to stand on my legs holding on to someone, but my favorite is to stand on someone's lap and dance up and down. I LOVE rolling around and sometimes my parents find me in a funny position in a different place (even in my bed where I like to sleep across the bed rather than along it haha)

As for sounds... Sometimes I sing in the car my favorite song "Hah..HahHah, Hah...HahHah". Also, I keep on making loud sounds in public places such as: airports, aeroplanes, restaurants, hospitals and in the playground. Last time my mom couldn't hear the doctor when talking to her because I was making too much noise.. aaaaaaaaahhhhaaahhaaaaa that the doctor laughed in the end. I laugh out loud when my mom and dad talk to me, especially when they repeat the same word 10 times like.. zin zin zin.. pizza pizza pizza, and Atsooooo and Shaaaaaaaaaatra lula.

Mom and Dad say I'm a very social person, I always smile to everybody and I don't mind if anybody holds me to play with me or even takes me anywhere. Everybody loves me and I love them all. Sometimes I'm curious and like to catch everything from other people's hands but it's because I'm now in a stage where I'm discovering my hands and feet and would like to catch and touch everything. A funny story happened in the aeroplane on our way back to Jeddah that my Mom felt shy about. I kept on touching the bracelets of the women sitting beside mom, and taking her food on her tray and beating my leg on hers, but she was a nice lady who keeps reading Quran for me and smiling to me while mom says sorry for her for maybe 10 times.

This is all about me at this stage and I'll update you soon on all me news.

Eid Vacation in Jordan

On Jan. 9 "El-Wa2feh" I went to Jordan for Eid vacation, I haven't seen Teta Haifa and Jido Baha since I was 2 months. During this vacation I saw many which I had not since the last time I had seen them in September. It was a nice chance to see my Dajani and Abdel Rahim relatives. Anyway, here are some pics of our trip to Jordan this eid as well as some we took in Jeddah just before we left.

@ Chili's to celebrate Mom's birthday

New Year 2006

Yesterday the 1st. of Jan. was my Mom's birthday. Dad, Mom and I went to celebrate my Mom's birthday in Chili's. Dad usually takes Mom to celebrate at restaurants at night, but because it was the first time for Mom to celebrate her birthday with me around, they decided to go during Dad's lunch break because they have to stay home with me at night haha. But that's OK, they say they love being around me.

As for New Year's Eve, Mom and Dad stayed home watching TV since all their friends were out of the country as they went for early Eid in Jordan. But I made up for their absence because I joined them to celebrate the New Year by waking up at 12:30am to have a drink of milk and dance away the night with them :-) "Shouf el samba, Shouf el rumba" (those of you who watch Star Academy 3, will know the song I mean haha)
