Lazy boy

Sorry for being late but I donno what's been happening to me lately. I always feel so sleepy and drowsy as you can see from this picture. I hardly have any time to write down my activities on my blog, what with all the sleeping, eating, burping, vomiting, bathing, cooing, laughing and crying I have to do on a daily basis, but I promise to keep in touch more often in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, I'll be posting some photos that Mom and Dad took of me recently. See you soon .. and save me some milk :-)

Me 6 days old

My Birth …

I heard from my other baby friends that births are usually painful for the moms, so I tried to make it as easy as possible for Mama Rama, and in fact that's the way it turned out to be. It was a smooth birth al-hamdulillah which only lasted for 15 minutes. After that the doctor carried out some routine checks on me before taking me upstairs for a bath and for me to take a much –needed nap.

I spent 3 days with my other newly born friends in the nursery where we spent our time drinking milk and sleeping and being admired by all the parents and the visitors.

My Visit to the Hospital

Mom went in at 8pm and at midnight I started some very light contractions. Just teasing ya3ni before my strong attacks hehe. And then mom slept from 12am to 5am when the nurses came in and began saying that I might begin coming out during the day. Dad came to the room at 6:30am to take care of me and mommy and they took us down to the Delivery Room at 9am, where mom had an epidural administered to her by Dr. Bassem Halaseh at 10am and that reduced the slight pain she was feeling.

Dad Arrives ….

My dad was supposed to come on 14/7/2005, BUT Dr. Kilani insisted that my Daddy come a bit earlier because there was a chance ino ra7 abaker my arrival. So dad came on 7/7/2005 and he spent a very nice week with Mommy and me doing lots of things such as having dinner at the Intercon terrace; going out to Naadi Al Sayaraat with Auntie Rana and Uncle Khader ad being invited to lunch at Uncle Adnan's house for kharuuf ma7shi J

The night of the kharrof ma7shi lunch, and after I was stuffed with so much yummy food, we went to the hospital from my delivery because I was already a day late, ma3 ino I like to be punctual like my Daddy & Mommy.

Guess who's back?!

Hi Everybody… This is ME WALOUDEH….this time talking to you from my home, I'm sitting behind Daddy's (com-u-ker) typing with my little fingers on the keyboard. Sorry for being late but I have to tell you briefly how my vacation went in Jordan inside my mom's tummy and what happened after that.

When I last left you, it was on May 20th 2005 as my mom and I left daddy in Jeddah and went to Amman because the doctor had ordered that we have to leave by then for my own health.

During the 6 weeks before I was born, so many things happened:

Mom frequently visited my doctor, Dr. Zaid Kilani at Farah Hospital and he treated her and me very well and I am very impressed with this experienced, hard working and talented doctor. Allah ya3tee il 3aafyeh.
We went to so many different places in Amman, especially with mom's friend Diala, such as looking for furniture for Diala's new home as she was going to get married later in the summer; visitng the newly renovated Safeway (bikharri)
We attended my cousin Faisal's graduation from kindergarten.
We celebrated my Granpa Walid's birthday.
We went to the Royal Automobile Club with my Auntie Rana and Uncle Khader and watched my cousins, Farah & Faisal (F&F), playing with their scooters there.
Mom had to miss Ashraf Zeitoon's wedding because I was naughty and very active and she couldn't leave the house that day hehe. I did the same thing on Asem Nabulsi's wedding day haha. BUT I was a good boy on Zeina's wedding date and we both attended that party in the Golf Club and it was beautiful. So mabrook to all of them and I hope they bring me some new friends soon so we can all go to school together.


And THEN, Daddy came!! Wuppeeeeeeeeeee
