Mudhesh Admiration

Let me tell you about my hero "Mudhesh" www.modhesh.ae. He is my favourite character in all of Dubai and I'm so glad that he is everywhere these days because he is the mascot of the Dubai Summer Surprises festival.

Mudhesh is basically a yellow toy with a big smile and 7 hairs standing up on his head and I think he looks a bit like me. I can spot him from a mile away. The other day, Mom and I were in the Mall of the Emirates and I began pointing and getting excited at something and Mom didn't realise why and that's because she couldn't see what I saw which was a few of Mudhesh's hairs showing up from behind a wall haha. That was enough to drive me crazy haha.

Unfortunately, summer is almost over and Mudhesh will be gone for another year but not to worry ... Dad bought me a Mudhesh doll today so I can play with my best friend all year long!

Home sweet Home

We arrived to Dubai on the 22nd of Aug. The trip was very comfortable this time. Uncle Samer travelled with me and Mom and I was a good boy during the trip as I promised him.

Once I saw Dad in the airport I couldn't recognize him, after a while I smiled to him, I remembered him and I remembered my car seat and our car. So I kept looking at him in the mirror admiringly.

When we reached home, I laughed because I really missed every part of it, especially my room and my toys :-)

Welcome back

Big Boy

I'm a toddler now, not a baby anymore. I can eat by myself, play and talk (not really).. I walk when someone holds my hand and sometimes I walk from a place to another but fast so that I won't fell down, but not a long distance. No problem one day I will walk, I don't care.

I had fun in Amman but the weather was too hot for me since we don't have ACs in Amman. Also I was a bit naughty in eating.. and I like to be held (an7imel) most of the time.

Dad came for 1 week only to celebrate my birthday then went back to Dubai. I missed him during our stay but he used to call us everyday.

Here are some words I use but with no meanings:

Attaaa: I use it when I wake up pointing to something
Aidaa: Pointing to a toy or teddy bear
Brrrrrrruu: I use it when I play
wawawawa: I put my hand on my mouth and play this sound wawawaaaaa
etaaaah: with a very low voice I use this word, sometimes I use it when I hear "Adan"

Also recently I'm using the word (beha'a) which means a BALL

Mom took me in Amman to many places:-

- At her friend's place Tala to play with Najwan's daughter Aya - a very nice girl who let me play with her toys.
- To Blue Fig with her friend Diala, but I slept on the way there.
- To Nadi el Sayarat with Aunt Rana and Farah and Faisal. I played with the kids and the weather was very nice.
- To the malls and restaurants to eat yummy food
- To Amr's birthday party (an old friend from Jeddah) and there I saw old friends from Nujoud compound like Karam and Talal and Zein and Amr and his brother Thaer.
- To my mom's friend Jane and played with her daughter Joanna.
- Also I met my old friend Jana, she is big now and becoming cuter ;-) we ate fried potato in the restaurant

Also I shout and get angry when they don't let me do whatever I want :-) haha I'm becoming a bit naughty.

Also I can climb a chair and come down from bed easily but sometimes I fall... hehehe I like sha3bata a lot.

My First Birthday

Sunday 16th of July 2006

I woke up in the morning with a big smile on my face knowing that this is the day. On this day I came out to the world with a big shout crying, and today after one year I'm facing the world with a big smile.

Before telling you about my birthday party which started at 6:00pm I want to thank my Mom and Dad for raising me up, taking care of me and giving me love and care, and also for bringing me to this life which is full of nice people who love me.

I woke up at 5:00 p.m after a small nap, I put on my clothes and went down to see the birthday everywhere. The most thing I liked was the "Welcome to Walido's birthday" colored letters hanging on the door. At 6:00 p.m the party began and there were only family members this year with no non-family members -I promise next year to invite everybody. Everybody was happy to see me and I was happy to see them as well. There was lots of food and the main (Winnie the Pooh) cake especially for me.

The birthday theme was all Winnie the Pooh: cups, plates, napkins, hats, whistles and also there were yellow and blue ballons everywhere. What I was really amazed from was the ballon which sang Happy Birthday.. In the beginning I was afraid of it then I liked it a lot.

They sang Happy Birthday for me 3 times and there were lots of cameras, I felt like I was a Hollywood star with all the cameras trying to take a photo of me :-) haha

In the end after we had finished eating I opened the gifts which made me even happier and I want to thank everybody for the nice and useful gifts they got for me. Also I want to thank the whole family for writing on my visitors' book for memory.

Thank you all :-) Mwaaaah

14/7/2006

We reached Amman on the 14th of July. My grandparents were in the airport to meet me. The weather was very nice and I was very happy to meet everybody after a long absence.

It was two days before my 1st birthday on the 16th of July and I was preparing myself for the big party.. yuhooo
