Rio de Janeiro Carnival in Jeddah

This afternoon, we had a small carnival in the compound and all my friends came out to eat the goodies prepared for them by the mommies. There was Jell-O, cream caramel, mortadella sandwiches, hot dogs, marshmallows, pop corn and much more. But I'm a healthy boy and so I only eat fruits and vegetables from my Mommy (as well as some haamleh, which I love like my Dad … yummie). There was also face painting available and the kids had "Spiderman" faces and "Cat" faces and "Dalmation faces". It was so much fun.

And then the big surprise which everyone was waiting for came ….. a big carriage with two horses dragging it (7antoor) . Wow!

As you can see from the photos all the kids were very excited and I kept nagging Mommy from inside her tummy to take me up there for a ride, which she finally agreed to do. We had a good time with the two spider boys next to us but then, after so many children got on it ……... the carriage collapsed from the weight! But thank god I wasn't on it at the time. Haha, what a day.
